She was predeceased by: her husband William Sr.; and her son Kenneth. She is survived by: her children, William Jr. (Eileen), Theresa, Ellen (Michael), Susan (Jack), Kathleen (Steve) and Robert (Kristi).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mclaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home (220 Glen St, Glen Cove, NY 11542). A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Patrick (235 Glen St, Glen Cove, NY 11542).

Diane Jennett wrote a sympathy message

“To Ruth’s family, I worked with Ruth at Roslyn Savings Bank in Farmingdale in the 1980’s. She kept us laughing!! I was from Levittown, as well. (DAHS 1978). I am in contact with Margaret S. It was she that informed me of your moms December birthday. I did send a card early Feb to the Babylon address. Ironically, my sister lives across the street. Ruth sure had a blessed life.
