He was predeceased by: his parents, Delores Pordy and Howard Pordy; his wife Barbara Shapero Pordy; and his son David Pordy. He is survived by: his daughter Karen Levine (Peter); his grandchildren, Tyler and Lexi Levine; his brother Steven Pordy (Maggie); his niece Jill; his sister-in-law Julie Margolis (Craig); and his niece Jennifer.
After retirement from his practice, he performed research for the Covid-19 vaccine.
