Mary Jane Belt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2023, at the age of 83, Mary Jane Belt of Glen Cove, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard McCabe (Bobby) and Elizabeth McCabe (Biz); her husband John Hewlett Keyes Belt; and her sister Elizabeth M Feeney (Betty). She is survived by: her stepchildren, Elizabeth Belt McGregor (William), John H. K. Belt Jr. (Woody) and Timothy W. Belt (Pamela Snodgrass); her daughters, Amanda Belt Alsheimer (Alan) and Laura Belt Ponomarev (Paul); her grandchildren, William, Benjamin, Luke, Olivia, Grace, Aidan, Riley, Owen, Ciara, Conor, Patrick and John (Jack); her sisters, Geraldine McCabe Pratt and Kathleen McCabe Nugent; and also, Elizabeth, John and Tim.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mary Jane's favorite charities, St. Patrick's Church and Hospice Care Network, where she served on the board for 20 years.
