With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria M Johanson in Glen Cove, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025. She is survived by: her children, Eric Johanson (Marie Hawkins) and Ellen Blanchard (John); her grandchildren, Zooey (David), Ian and Rylan; and her great grandchildren, Felix and Ren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (16 Glenwood Rd, Glen Head, NY 11545). A burial was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
