With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ethel May Stewart of Glen Cove, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughters, Patricia and Rosemary; and her siblings, Mary, Willie Lee, Fate Greer, Mattie Bee Greer and Dallas Bee Greer.
She is survived by: her children, John E. Jr. and Debra Wilson; and her siblings, Ruby Thomas, Willie E. Greer, Ann Greer, Laura Ann Smith and Robert James Greer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Church of God in Christ (60 Cottage Row, Glen Cove, NY 11542). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Amityville Cemetery (55 Harrison Ave, Amityville, NY 11701).
