With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Anthony A. Tavernese of Glen Cove, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Anthony left this world on April 3, 2025, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Anthony may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Anthony touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virginia Loving and Anthony F. Loving; his daughter Julianna; his sister Danielle (Brad Robinson); his nieces and nephews, Bailey (Alex), Katheryn, Erin and Heather; and also Michelle. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home (26 Franklin Ave, Glen Cove, NY 11542). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Boniface Martyr Church (145 Glen Ave, Sea Cliff, NY 11579).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anthony's honor to Glen Cove Fire Department.
