She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Abel; her parents, Josephine Grella and Angelo Grella; her sister Maria (John McQuillin); her parents-in-law, Elvira and Antonio; and her sister-in-law Lucy. She was also cherished by loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home (26 Franklin Ave, Glen Cove, NY 11542). A Mass was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Church of St. Rocco (18 3rd St, Glen Cove, NY 11542). A burial was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Rood Cemetery (111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590).
