He was predeceased by: his parents, John Riccio and Angelina Riccio (Nero); and his siblings, Emily Spada, Mary Snyder, Anthony "Tony" Riccio and Nicholas Riccio.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Riccio (Alecca); his children, Denise Kelder (John) of Saugerties and Joseph Riccio Of Saugerties (Lisa Pugliese); his grandchildren, Linzey, Victoria Pugliese and Dennis Kelder (Mandy); his great grandchildren, Brittany Hanzl (John), Darren Chlud and Angelina Kelder; his sister-in-law Roselyn Ricco; and also, Haley, Bradley Williams and Kymani Jones. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, Godchildren and cousins.
Joseph was currently a parishioner at Saint Joseph's Church Glasco, a life member of Glasco Fire Department (seventy-two years), former member of Messina Lodge Order of Sons of Italy, and American Cancer Society Relay for Life (Saugerties).
