He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Newell; his children, Michael Newell (Debbie) of Morris, Lorraine Page (Bret) of Bainbridge, David Newell (Cindy) of Gilbertsville and Malcolm Newell (Regina) of Bainbridge; his grandchildren, Tonya Rearick (Jason) of Ilion, Karen Newell (Heather) of Utica, Garrett Newell of Bainbridge, Derek Cornish (Courtney) of Bainbridge, Ashley Newell and Kyleena Newell of Gilbertsville; his great grandchildren, Rebecca, Sarah, Joshua Rearick of Ilion and Avonlee Jennings-Newell of Utica; and his brothers, Richard Newell (Margaret) of Norwich and Don Newell of Norwich. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
