It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Gadsby Birdsall Jr. of Gilbertsville, New York, who passed away on October 24, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gadsby Birdsall, Sr. and Alice Birdsall Day (Day); and his siblings, Howard, Richard, Robert, Sumner, Beulah, Mildred and Doris.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, John Birdsall III (Michelle), Alan Birdsall (Marianne), Mike Birdsall and Sheila Naar (David); his grandchildren, Stacy Birdsall (Dan), Adam Birdsall (Kari), Heather Kraft (Phil), Courtney Birdsall, Joe Melita (Kristen), Heather Covington (Cole), Joshua Naar and Michael Birdsall; and his great grandchildren, Trenton, Anthony, Jack, Aleksander, Eloise, Nora, Quinn, Evelyn, Willard, Layla and Mia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
