He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold A. Davis and Frances Davis (Hopkins); his wife Elizabeth Davis (Betty) of Norwich; his children, Edward Davis of Sherburne, Kevin Davis (Cindy) of Chenango Forks, Karen Mealey (Tom) of Norwich and Michael Davis (Penny) of Baldwinsville; and his sisters, Phyllis Cummings and Katherine MaCumber. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
