He is survived by: his wife Veronica Slater; his son Jeffrey Meers (Jennifer); his siblings, Mart (Jennifer), Dan, Jerome (Karen), Terence, John, Christine Haas (William), Mary Fitzgerald (Steve) and Kelly Meers; and his grandchildren, Meghan Wind (Galen) and Katlyn Meers (Kyle).
