With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Louise Calamia (Gilbertsville, New York), born in Butternuts, New York, who passed away on April 14, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Porter and Gladys Porter (Johnson); her husband Louis Calamia; and her brothers, Robert Porter, William Porter and Gerald Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Williams (Ted), Deb Marvin (Ken), Don Brooks (Karen), Ron Brooks (Fran), John Brooks (Lorraine) and Jamy Brooks (Marlene); her siblings, Jim Porter (Jane), Pat Hunt (John), Barb Ladner and Shirley Ashley; and her sisters-in-law, Lynne Porter, Shirley Porter and Linda Porter. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services are being held privately and at the convenience of her family.
