He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Kennedy and Hazel Kennedy (Slade); and his siblings, Slade Kennedy and Merilyn Bullard. He is survived by: his children, William E. Kennedy, John Kennedy (Margaret) and Beth S. Kennedy (Patrick Noone); and his grandchildren, Andrew (Rebecca), Michael, Leilani (Austin), Alaina (Tyler), John Parker (Regina) and Jessica (Hailee). He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren.
He worked for Grumman Aerospace as an Administrative Engineer, and was proud of his contribution to the Apollo 11 program, which landed the first humans on the moon.
