He was predeceased by: his parent Ellouise Law; his significant other Kathleen Viet; and his sister Patricia Coons. He is survived by: his siblings, Terrance Law, Michael McCarty (Minni), Mark McCarty, Matthew McCarty (Tracy), Michelle Guilefuss (Fred) and Louann Crownover; and his uncle Raymond "Mosey" Lockrow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
