He is survived by: his siblings, Eric Cooley of Syracuse and Jo Cooley of Michigan; his children, Kaitlynn Simmons, Chelsea Meister (Patrick) of Hudson and Sergeant Austyn Cooley of North Carolina; and his grandchildren, Julianna, Nathaniel Barone, Olivia and Owen Meister.
