She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Williams and Bertha Williams (Newman); her husband Malcolm Wheeler; her children, Linda Benton (James), Gary Wheeler (Linda O'Neil) and Laurell Ordway; her grandchildren, Geoff Benton (Ashley), Jessica Benton, Christopher Ordway, Cassandra Wellhausen (Adam), Matthew Ordway (Julie) and Taylor Wheeler (Tyler Friss); and her great grandchildren, Alana, Shane, Katherine, Brady, James and Fayelin.
In lieu of flowers Claire's family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern New York.
