He was predeceased by: his parents, Sufi Bashir Ahmed and Sakina Bano. He is survived by: his spouse Nafeesa Abida; and his children, Mehnaz Khan (Nasir), Sadaf Shaikh (Taha) and Sana Shahid (Zafar). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 brothers, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and members.
