He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Yavno. He is survived by: his children, Aimee (FianceTed Hawkins) and Mark J. Yavno (late Tammy Eckel); his grandchildren, Seth Morgan Porter and Aidan Hawkins; and his sister Bertha Cohen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
