He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Siegel and Ruth Siegel; his children, Robin Star (David), Cary Siegel (Christina), Nathan Siegel (Elizabeth), Aaron Siegel and Shana Siegel; his grandchildren, Alexander Barrett, Gabrielle Star, Isabela Siegel, Solomon Siegel, Mimi Siegel, Avi Siegel, Samantha Siegel, Sabrina Siegel, Julia Siegel, Jack Siegel and Luke Siegel; and his brother David Siegel (Barbara).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be made in Herb's memory to the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy.
