He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Gaglia and Doris Gaglia. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Gaglia; his daughter Andrea Brothman (David); and his brother Alphonso Gaglia (Louise). He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

Charlie was the owner of Chocolate Chocolát in Buffalo and after retiring volunteered for 11 years at Kenmore Mercy Hospital and worked for the American Cancer Society.
