With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janis G. Rounds of Gerry, New York, born in Jamestown, New York, who passed away on October 31, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her granddaughters, Ashley and Brooke; her parents, Wilbur Austin and June Austin; her husband Paul Rounds; her daughters, Tina Cochran of Jamestown and Tammy Kesby (Darren) of Bemus Point; her grandchildren, Nicholas Backer of Gerry, Rylee Backer of Silver Creek, Shane Kesby of Gaston, SC, Austin Kesby (Ashley) of Gaston, SC and Taylor Ambrose (Brandon) of McDonough, GA; her great grandchildren, Summer Backer, Harper Russell, Willow Russell, Remi Russell, Olivia Kesby, Hope Kesby and Hunter Kesby; and her siblings, Rolland Austin of Falconer, Donna Austion of Lakewood, Deborah Passage (Ralph) of Smethport, PA and Susan Wright of Celoron.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to Dawn Thompson for her rescue efforts at 3710 Ross Mills Road, Falconer, NY 14733.
