He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Foster (Kenney) and Clarence Foster. He is survived by: his wife Carol Foster (Christie); his children, Kimberly Groom (Jerry), William B. Foster and Laura Foster; his grandchildren, Samantha McCarthy, Jerry Groom III, Patrick Groom, Lucas Foster and Leah Foster; his siblings-in-law, Bruce and Roslyn Christie; and his nephews, Kurt and Erik Gardiner.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Firemen's Home Chapel (125 Harry Howard Ave, Hudson, NY 12534). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Fasny Firefighters Home.
