He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Coons and Olive Coons (King). He is survived by: his wife Tammy Jones; his son Tim Coons (Carla); his stepson Matt Jones (Kandice West); his siblings, Richie Coons (Debbie), Randy Coons (Nancy) and Roberta Cronin (Phil); his grandchildren, Logan Altomer and Khloe Jones; and his close friends, Randy Love and Sandy Crisco.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burnett and White Funeral Home (7461 S Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571).
