He was predeceased by: his mother Cornelia Diehl. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Diehl; his children, Jonathan Lawrence Diehl of Buffalo and Victoria Catherine Diehl of Carol Stream, Illinois; his father Lawrence Proceus Diehl Sr. (Sherrill) of Germantown; his brothers, Craig Diehl of Coxsackie and Christopher Diehl of Germantown; and his granddaughters, Juliana and Clara Diehl.
