He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Phillip and Malvina; his wife Maryann Gallant (Casler); his sons, John Gallant Jr. (Sharon) of Greenport and Lee Gallant (Tracey) of Clermont; his granddaughters, Lizbeth of Montana, Kendall Moore (Steven) and Leighann Gallant; and his sister Patricia Felzcak of North Carolina. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
