With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denis R. Holmes of Georgetown, New York, born in Peekskill, New York, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Holmes and Beatrice Zeliph Holmes; and his brother Albert Holmes of Georgetown, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Alice Lubbers Holmes; his daughter Beverly Orzechowski (Steve); his granddaughters, Melanie of Oneida, NY and Julia of Oneida, NY; his daughter Valerie Holmes (Christian Pace); his granddaughter Caroline of Mahopac, NY; and his siblings, Clifford Holmes of South Otselic, NY, Lois Bagala (Frank) of Hopewell Junction, NY and Edith Benedict of Cortlandt Manor, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
