With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Helen (Townsend) Binns of Genoa, New York, born in Cayuga, New York, who passed away on April 3, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erle B Townsend and Lura Durnford Townsend; her husband William Binns; her siblings, Robert Townsend, Frederick Townsend, John Townsend, Carl Townsend and Florence Kirk; her granddaughter Mandy Kim; and her great grandchild James.
She is survived by: her siblings, Richard Townsend (Joan), Harold Townsend (Grace), Shirley Mosher and Marian Mantz (Bill); her children, Phyllis Costello (Tim), William Binns (Patty), Sharon Pettit (Wayne), Michael Binns (Brenda), Mark Binns (Nadine), John Binns (Rebecca), Donna Perkins (Larry), Donald Binns (Cathy) and B. Scott Binns (Darlene); and her daughter-in-law Debbie Binns-Carp. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
