He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Stella Sr. and Doris A Stella (Frawley); his aunt Katherine; and his uncle Adam Yokopovich. He is survived by: his siblings, Willam E Stella Jr. (Lorry Whipple), Daniel P. Stella (Debbie), Maurina B. Schmidt (John), Irene M. Jordan (Jon) and Ilene M. Stella; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa A Viau, Sara G. Henderson (James), Emily L. Stella, Danielle M. Stella, Jonathan R. Jordan and Jesse L. Jordan. He is also survived by his ex-wife, two daughters, grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc. (123 W Main St, Palmyra, NY 14522). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Grove Place Cemetery (2781 Chili Ave, Rochester, NY 14624).
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Wayne County Humane Society, a cause close to Walt's heart.
