He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Verdehem and Mary Verdehem of Phelps; and his sisters, Marcia VerStraete, Carolyn Gawlik, Virginia Pasarek, Rose Adams and Lillian Wilson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Arlene Murphy of Rochester and Shirley Caves of Reading, PA; his children, Brenda Verdehem of Geneva, Bob Verdehem (Sandy) of Bellona, Peter Verdehem (Deb) of Phelps, Brian Verdehem (Jennifer) of Sugar Land and Lynn Perkovich (Tom) of Tonawanda, NY; his grandchildren, Tom Perkovich (Brandi), Erica Nesbit (Anthony), Chris Verdehem (Chelsie), Erik Verdehem, Scott Verdehem, Alex Verdehem, Joshua Verdehem, Nicholas Verdehem and Ella Verdehem; his close friend Joyce Lorsong; and his pet Bailey. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
There will be no prior calling hours due to the limitation on gatherings as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
