He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald J. Whyte and Helen M. Heinz Whyte; and his stepfathers, Ivar Nelson and Charles Earl. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Monica Margeson (Gary) of Geneva and Matthew Smith (Christine) of Rochester; his sister Donna Gallagher (Craig) of Hammondsport; his close friend Ann Warner of Geneva; and his grandchildren, Seth, Shelby Margeson and Connor Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
