Though Rita may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rita touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Mehlenbacher and Wilhelmina Mehlenbacher; her husband Ramon Mehlenbacher; and her daughter Vickie. She is survived by: her children, Pennie and Jim (Carmen Liberatore); and her grandchildren, Brittany Russ (Brian Murphy), Joshua Russ (Megan), Robert Jensen (Paige Dahl), Derek Mehlenbacher and Zach Cutlip. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home (28 Genesee St, Geneva, NY 14456). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
