He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward P. McCarthy and Ruth Hennessy McCarthy; and his wife Patricia Dougherty McCarthy. He is survived by: his son Mark McCarthy of Geneva; his daughter-in-law Marni McCarthy of Geneva; his grandchildren, Ashley Roberts (Mike) of Geneva, Matthew McCarthy of Geneva and Carly McCarthy of Geneva; and his siblings, Jack McCarthy (Mary) of Rochester, Janet Manuel (Steven) of Rochester and Alice Lantier (Dennis) of White Plains, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
