He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bolan and Marjorie Rippey Bolan; and his siblings, William Bolan Jr., John "Butch" Bolan and Marjorie Dawn DeMay.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Smead Bolan of Geneva, NY.; his children, Terence Michael Bolan (Virginia) of Farmington, NY and Mary Lee Bolan Venuti (John) of Pawleys Island, SC; his grandchildren, Megan Bolan Scribner (Michael) of Farmington, NY, Danielle Bolan-Hulo (Larry) of Farmington, NY, Scott Acker of Hallendale Beach, FL and Ashley Acker (Matthew Sick) of Dansville, NY; his great grandchildren, Rylan Hulo, Warren Hulo and Zayne Sick; and his brothers, Gerald Bolan (Alta) of Webster, NY and James Bolan (Linda) of Clifton Springs, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
