She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Walters and Mary Lorenz Walters; her husband Robert; and her grandchildren, Jennifer and Darin.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Scherer (Pat), Bruce Scherer (Linda), Bonnie DeVito (Jim), Terry Scherer (Caron), Tom Scherer (Connie) and Robin Scherer. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions, in her memory, may be made to a charity of one's choice.
