With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise C. Smith of Geneva, New York, who passed away on June 10, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theophil Coppens and Justina Coppens (Schaeken); her husband Leonard Smith; her siblings, Gus Coppens, Margaret Stevens, Maynard Coppens, Alice Hoomans and Madeline Gallipeau; and her son-in-law Richard Seeger.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Seeger (Richard) of Geneva, Ellen Wiesner (Wayne) of Geneva and Gregory Smith of Geneva; her grandchildren, Renee Rose (Eric Giguere), Melanie Haers (Justin), Daniel Wiesner (Emily), Nicholas Wood (Erin), Lenny Wood and Justin Higgins; her stepgranddaughter Nikole Pagani (Dominic); her great grandchildren, Lauren, Leigha, Tori, Kennedy, Emma, Jonathan, Natalie, Dylan, Addison, Nate, Xander and David; and her close friends, Esther Chichester, Barbara Koczent and Patricia Doran. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated in memory to Rochester Area Right to Life, Catholic Charities of Geneva or Our Lady of Peace Parish, Geneva.
