He is survived by: his spouse Edita Freimanis Carle; his children, Robert Carle (Susanna Chung), Kenneth Carle (Jennifer), Sigrid Carle (Beth) and Sandra Pilotte (John); and his grandchildren, Alex, Timothy, Christopher, Ryan, Jason, Aaron Freimanis, Zachary, Caleb and Anna Edita.
