He was predeceased by: his parents, Abbott Hessney and Fada Hessney (Saloon); his wife Doris Marie Hessney; and his siblings, Isaac Hessney, Vickie DiBona, Nora Frasca and Jennie Agosto.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Hessney (Roberta) of Geneva, Jacqueline Leshley (Terry Hill) of Bonita Springs, FL and Judith Fuchs (Mark) of Naples, FL.; his sister Mary Ann Malark of Manchester, NY; his grandchildren, Matthew Leshley (Melissa), Jaislee Spina, Carrie Ashley Hessney-Doran (Tim), Michael Leshley (Laura), Janelle Hernandez (Fidel) and Jordyn Spina; his great grandchildren, Lucy Rose, Kalaya, Evelyn, Nora and Jude; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Davids, Betty Holtz and Jo Wheaton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
