He was predeceased by: his parent George Tipps; his wife Helen (LaManna); and his brother George David Tipps of Little Rock, AK.. He is survived by: his parent Flossie Tipps (Billingsley); his sons, Joe Dan Tipps, Jr (Kathy Tomion) of Fairport, NY and Sean Tipps (Daisy) of Branford, CT; his granddaughters, Meghan Teeter (Eric) of Fairport, NY and Kaitlyn Sousa (Trevor) of Fairport, NY; and his great grandchildren, Sophia Sousa of Fairport, NY, Corie Teeter, Hannah Teeter of Fairport, NY and Slade Sousa of Fairport, NY. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
