She is survived by: her parents, Ernesto Rivera of Geneva and Carmen Aponte Rivera of Jersey City, NJ; her sons, Julian Rivera of Geneva and Joel Garcia of Geneva; her brother Christopher Rivera of Philadelphia, PA; and her friend Mark McCheyne of Geneva.
