She was predeceased by: her husband William R. Sherring; her parents, Guy K. Shinn and Madeline Shinn Shaffer; and her brother Gene K. Shinn. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn M. Ortiz of Geneva and William M. Sherring of California; her grandchildren, Ryan L. Ortiz of California, Krista E. Ortiz of Texas and Madilyn C. Sherring of California; her nephews, Stephen and James Brady; and her niece Amy White.
