He was predeceased by: his parents, John Strouse and Johanna Christensen Strouse; his wife Doris Breese Strouse; and his siblings, Clifford, William, Carlos, Robert, Doris Reimuth and Alice Cook.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Strouse of Syracuse; his brother-in-law Robert Breese; and his nieces and nephews, Linda Breese, Lorrie Goff, Ed Swart, Nick McCann and Marge Nagy.
