She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Calvin Leo Butler Jr of New York and Amanda Aitheria Butler of North Carolina; and her siblings, Gloria Sawyer, Timothy Hannah of New York, Joseph McClam (Veronica) of New York, Thomas Hannah of New York and Thomas Meyers (Doris) of New York. She was also cherished by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
