She was predeceased by: her parent William T. Smead, Sr.; her husband Charles Otis Bennett; her son Michael Bennett; her siblings, William Smead, Thomas Smead and Ann Smead Hicks; and her brother-in-law Edward DeWitt.
She is survived by: her parent Elizabeth B. Gallagher; her children, Mark Bennett (Lieanne) of Geneva and Diane Bennett of Newark; her grandchildren, Audrey Abraham (Matt), Sean Bennett, Christine Morse, Michael Bennett (Patricia) and Scott Bennett (Erika); and her siblings, John Smead (Maureen) of Geneva, Elizabeth DeWitt of Geneva and Mary Kay Bolan (Michael) of Geneva. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
