She was predeceased by: her parent Rose Bonito (Ardolino); her husbands, Edward Akens and Patrick Talomie; her daughter Barbara McCarty; and her grandchildren, Karen McCarty and Kelly Mahoney.
She is survived by: her parent Savino Bonito; her children, Edward Akens (Alice) of Stanley and Gail of Seneca Falls; her grandchildren, Edward Akens, Ashley Akens (Megan), Bradley Akens, Dino Mahoney, John Mahoney (Nicole), Eric Sullivan and Heather Beck; and also Lafler of Seneca Falls. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
