She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Houghton and Bessie Houghton (Drake); her husbands, Parl Sherman and Thomas Rugar; and her siblings, Donald Houghton and Alice O'Grady.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Sherman (Deborah) of Texas, Carol Meiggs (Arthur) of Ohio, Debra Rugar Beeman (Steve) and Allison Martin (Patrick) of Geneva; and her sister Janet Somerville of Auburn, NY. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home (28 Genesee St, Geneva, NY 14456). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Palmisano Mull Funeral Home (28 Genesee St, Geneva, NY 14456).
