She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Treadwell and Marian Treadwell (Carr); her brother John Treadwell; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Treadwell, Robert Ritter, Salvatore Pitifer and Charles Simpson.
She is survived by: her husband Charles F. Pitifer of Geneva; her children, Chas Pitifer (B. J.) of Geneva and Deborah Gringeri (Robert) of Geneva; her sister Jean Ritter of Geneva; her half-siblings, Gary Nielson (Irene) and Lynn Treadwell-Salerno (Woody); her stepsister Nancy Lally (Mike) of Fla; her sisters-in-law, Anna Pitifer of Geneva and Lucille Simpson of Canandaigua; and her grandchildren, Steven Payne (Susan Panna), Rebecca Wandtke (Patrick), Jaclyn Pitifer (Jelani Stewart), Christopher Pitifer (Alicia Knapton) of Jenna Gringeri, R. J. and Marli Cooper (Colin). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
