Clair David Schaffner Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, David M. and Mae E. Knorr Schaffner; and his son Scott D. Schaffner. He is survived by: his wife Carol E. Lowdermilk Schaffner; his daughters, Diane Karlsen (Michael) of Romulus, Bonnie Wright (Clif) of Lima and Lori Scherer (John) of Avon; his grandchildren, Jessica Ripple (Mike), Abby Dunphy (Shawn), Stacey Monnat (Tyler), Colby Wright, Morgan Scherer and Dylan Scherer; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Ripple and Maya Ripple. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Student Loan Fund, c/o First Baptist Church of Geneva, 134 N. Main St., Geneva, NY, 14456; this fund was established by Clair and his wife, Carol following the death of their toddler son, Scott in 1970.
