She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Mabie and Maud Mabie (Goodwin); her daughter Beverly; her grandson Lewis Dawson II; and the father of her children John L. Dawson III.
She is survived by: her children, Crissy Dawson, Lewis Dawson (Kim), Amy Sabol (Dan), John Dawson (Pam) and William Dawson; and her sisters, Nancy, Phyllis and Norma. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
