He was predeceased by: his parents, Varlan Maloney and Jean Potter Maloney. He is survived by: his wife Kathy "Kitty" Cuminale; his daughters, Bridget Maloney, Sheila Marroquin (Sam) of Rochester, Samantha Dale of Leicester, Erin Maloney of Buffalo, Molly Maloney of New York City and Abby Maloney of Geneseo; his grandchildren, Taylor, Jamie Marroquin, Jaelyn and Juddsen Fanaro; and his brothers, Michael Maloney (Clare) of Geneseo and Robin Maloney (Linda) of Leicester. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
